Hi all!

For any of you who might be free to work on projects, a site called Exilian has a new skill share section as a new place to allow people to search for paid or unpaid work. The Exilian has hosted a huge number of projects over the years, especially in game design (tabletop and PC), game modding, writing, and more; this new area can be seen by lots of project leaders looking for the person they need to help get a project off the ground. If you think that person might be you, you're very welcome to come and get the ball rolling - this is a totally new area for us and has just been launched, and we're hoping it will be a success. :)…
Hello hello!

I'm doing my semi-regular activity of coming cap in hand here to see if anyone would like to collaborate with me on any of my ongoing projects. I've been doing this a couple years now and it hasn't helped much, but I'm still working on things so still feel it'd be worth a shot and occasionally I meet interesting people regardless.

All of my projects are currently non-profit, I put my time in wholly for free and anyone working with me would have to do likewise. I can certainly promise to maximise your profile via plugs on Facebook and Twitter, and telling everyone I know that you're awesome, and that sort of thing. Within the parameters of what I directly need I'm fairly relaxed about schedules, quality, and so on, I'm very happy for any of this stuff to go to someone who wants a learning project or whatever. I do have fully written design documentation for my projects and am happy to produce more detail if asked for.

So, all that out the way, two projects that need your help!

Adventures of Soros (Adventure game, PC)

A whimsical text-parser adventure. I need around 35 images, 2d, about 700x500px, that will illustrate each of the game locations. The setting is a classic fantasy with strong early medieval themes, elves, dwarves, goblins, gnomes, etc. The player types parser commands (much as early 1980s games worked) to move around the game world and do quests and so on - the illustrations are the only real visuals in the game and are needed to evoke the setting better than my brief descriptions can! The game programming is around 70% done for the basic plan, and I've been working on it as a hobby project on and off for a few years  - getting the art in place is now the main block to completion.

I can also accommodate other artists on this project if needs be, which will allow me to expand the game world, but mainly I need one person willing to commit to the basic 35-image central game area.

Hetairos (Micro-RPG, Tabletop)

An unusual free downloadable ruleset for a micro-RPG/boardgame. Essentially here the job is "take rulebook, make pretty in some way". The game sets the players as a team/two teams/individuals to complete a scenario running around and exploring the ancient Greek underworld, so expect to be drawing any of Amazons, Cyclopes, hoplites, cerberus, etc. The job is very open ended for people who like that sort of thing, though I'm happy to put down more concrete ideas if someone wants them.

Thanks to anyone who got through reading all that :)

Thankyou (or merci, danke, or dziekuje if that'd be preferable) and you're welcome (which I won't try in Francais, Deutsch and Polski because I'm actually very bad at languages). :)
